About the awards.
The NSW Training Awards are conducted annually by Training Service NSW within the Department of Education. These awards are designed to recognise the outstanding achievements in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sectors. They honor the achievement of students, trainers/ teachers, and training organisations.

Why should you apply or nominate someone for an award?
By nominating an individual or organisation to the 2021 NSW training awards, they could have the chance to be recognised as exemplars within the industry for their dedication to supporting the vocational education community.
In celebrating the achievements within the NSW VET industry these awards provide recognition to individuals and organisations within in their communities. For an organisation, these awards provide a great networking opportunity, showcases the organisation’s commitment to excellence and raises the profile of the organisation in the industry, community, and government.
How to enter, eligibility and selection criteria.

Submission tips:
- Review the ‘eligibility and selection criteria’ for the award you wish to be nominated for or wish to apply for.
- Keep your writing clear and simple (dot points are accepted).
- Prepare your responses to the selected criteria and save in word document before submitting the section on the online application.
- If supporting documents are attachment to submission file/ application, ensure that you refer to them in the application.
- Give practical examples with evidence and avoid vague generalisations.
- Don’t exceed the maximum word count in the section of the application.
- Nominators there is only one login. To obtain your nominee’s response Training Service NSW suggest that you send them the question and have them email their response back. Then copy and paste their response into the portal.
