About the qualification

When gaining competency in this qualification, you will have the skills and knowledge to undertake roles in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

You will be supporting the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

Work placement will be required to complete on the job demonstration of skills required for competency in individual units.

We offer both online and distance based training activities. These will include a mixture of selfpaced training tasks and/or on the job practice/work experience, as well as individual face to face sessions
with learners. This may take the form of site visits, emails or telephone calls.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To undertake study in the course you will be required to present a clear working with children check and clear police check.

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is mandatory for all students undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia, including courses delivered by Sureway Skills Training. If you don’t have one, we can help you apply during the enrolment process.
