About the qualification
When gaining competency in this qualification, you will be able to undertake roles in the community and/ or residential setting, caring for people following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support.
You will gain a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support
CHC33021 Course Requirements To achieve this qualification, you will be required to complete at least 120 hours of work experience in an aging, disability support or community centred workplace*. Vocational placement assistance is provided by Sureway.

We offer both online and distance based training activities for our Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33021 course. These will include a mixture of selfpaced training tasks and/or on the job practice/work experience, as well as individual face to face sessions with learners. This may take the form of site visits, emails or telephone calls.
Fees and funding assistance
$5,200
Eligible students may be able to access government-funded training programs. Eligibility is based on factors such as residency, age, employment status, and the course you choose. During the application process, our team will review your circumstances and advise you on any available funding opportunities to help reduce your course costs.
To undertake study in the course you must be working in the industry and will be required to present a clear police check.
