About the qualification
When gaining competency in this qualification, you will have the skills and knowledge to undertake roles in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
You will be supporting the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.
Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care Requirements Work placement will be required to complete on the job demonstration of skills required for competency in individual units.

We offer both online and distance based training activities for our Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course. These will include a mixture of self-paced training tasks and/or on the job practice/work experience, as well as individual face to face sessions with learners. This may take the form of site visits, emails or telephone calls.
Fees and funding assistance
$5,500
Eligible students may be able to access government-funded training programs. Eligibility is based on factors such as residency, age, employment status, and the course you choose. During the application process, our team will review your circumstances and advise you on any available funding opportunities to help reduce your course costs.
To undertake study in the course you will be required to present a clear working with children check and clear police check.
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is mandatory for all students undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia, including courses delivered by Sureway Skills Training. If you don’t have one, we can help you apply during the enrolment process.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) is delivered primarily online, giving you the flexibility to study when and where it suits you best. Depending on your circumstances, there may also be some in-person components or supervised activities.
