About the qualification

Gaining this qualification you will have the skills and knowledge to work in roles such as support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments.

To achieve this qualification, you will be required to complete at least 120 hours of work experience in an aging or community centred workplace*. Vocational placement assistance is provided by Sureway.

This qualification is delivered using a blended learning format that includes online, e-learning and hard copy materials. Recognition of Prior Leaning and Credit Transfer are available as well.

Learners can enrol in one or more units as a skill set as required for their personal development, workplace requirements or compliance.
